Faith & Community
Rooted in Faith. Growing in Service.
Established on November 3, 2010, Trinity African Methodist Episcopal Church has served the Gonzales community and surrounding areas with faith, compassion, and purpose. At Trinity, we are committed to building a loving, supportive, and Spirit-filled environment where people can encounter God, grow in faith, and live out the teachings of Christ every day.
Our Vision
Trinity African Methodist Episcopal Church is a ministry dedicated to boldly serving God's people as we seek to advance the Kingdom of God by proclaiming the Word of God lovingly ministering to the needs of our community.
Our Motto
"Trusting God as we Serve Boldly and Love Unconditionally, Advancing the Kingdom of God Here on Earth.
Our Scripture
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
The A.M.E. Church Mission
The Mission of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is to minister the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and environmental needs of all people by spreading Christ's liberating gospel through word and deed.

At every level of the Connection and in every local church, the African Methodist Episcopal Church shall engage in carrying out the spirit of the original Free African Society, out of which the A.M.E. Church evolved: that is, to seek out and save the lost, and serve the needy through a continuing program of:
- Preaching the Gospel - Feeding the hungry
- Clothing the naked - Cheering the fallen

Administering to the needs of all God's people as we seek to embrace diversity and foster unity in the community where we live and serve.
